Subject: page number prefix

Hello All,

I am trying to get page numbering in my manual chapters like this (so we
can update a printed manual by replacing only a chapter and toc):
For chapter 1
1-1
...
1-12
For chapter 2
2-1
..
2-15
etc.
To achieve this I copied the customization file by Jeff Beal from
http://www.docbook.org/wiki/moin.cgi/PageNumberPrefixes?action=show
to a file called chaps.xml and added an include to my custom.xsl file:

<?xml version='1.0'?>
<xsl:stylesheet
    xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform";
    xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format";
    version="1.0">
<xsl:import
href="/usr/share/sgml/docbook/docbook-xsl-1.62.0/fo/docbook.xsl"/>
<xsl:include href="chaps.xsl"/>
</xsl:stylesheet>

Using this stylesheet with fop-0.20.5 and xsl-stylsheets-1.62.0 and DTD
Docbook XML V4.2 I do not get the PDF output I would like to have:
-page numbers are not in the footer any more (as they are when using
plain docbook.xsl)
-toc looks like:
chapter 1     1-
section 1.1   1-1
section 1.2   1-4
chapter 2     2-
section 2.1   2-5
section 2.2   2-7

Am I missing something?

Kind regards,

Maarten Sanders
