Subject: RE: [docbook-apps] Another linking problem in htmlhelp
Yes I have at least one per HTML file. These are the elements I've found: Autogenerated by HTMLhelp for h2, h3, h4, etc. Autogenerated for <table> and <example> <anchor id> <para id> <synopfragment id> works with <synopfragmentref linkend> The id I've set in a chapter (writing-documentation) didn't show up in the HTML file, but the id I've set in a section (writing_documentation-insert-ref) did. The id "writing-documentation" doesn't have a reference which might be why it's been left out. After some testing: Links to <title id="hepp"> in procedure/step doesn't work. Comes to the top of the correct page. Links to <procedure id="hopp"> works. Links to <step id="stop"> in procedure works. I can't reference <title>? /Kenneth -------------------------------------------------------- Kenneth Johansson Technical Documentation Manager Sectra Imtec AB Teknikringen 2 E-mail: ke-joh AT sectra DOT se SE-583 30 Linköping Phone: +46 13 23 52 00 SWEDEN Web: http://www.sectra.se > > -----Original Message----- > From: Bob Stayton [mailto:bobs@sco.com] > Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 21:43 > To: Kenneth Johansson > Cc: 'Jirka Kosek'; 'DOCBOOK-APPS' > > On Tue, Nov 04, 2003 at 09:47:32AM +0100, Kenneth Johansson wrote: > > > > > > > When I link to an internal item in the document and click > > > on the link > > > > I always come to the top of the page, never to the spot > > > where my ID is set. > > > > This happens in both XREF and LINK but it works if I make an > > > > ANCHOR and then use XREF or LINK. > > > > > > This is supposed to work.
