Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Chapter numbering resets unexpectedly
First check to make sure your document is valid DocBook. Then look for label attributes in your chapter tags. The label attribute lets you set the chapter number manually. Those are about the only two things that would cause the chapter numbers to be off.
