Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] What is status of open-source XSLT to PDF ?
I am also very interested in this question. I recently had to decide which method, of all the documentation formats out there, I would use for an upcoming book. I chose NOT to use DocBook because I found the the XML -> PDF toolchain was very confusing, unstable, and as Jeff mentioned, various websites displayed conflicting information. A more streamlined process is very important if I am going to choose DocBook in future projects. Thanks Joe Jeffrey Franks said: > Hi, > > Picking up Docbook XML from where I left off in 1999.
