The Project DB2LateX (http://db2latex.sourceforge.net) uses (pdf)latex as backend and can generate high quality output (LaTeX should be known by everyone for it's outstanding quality). I admit that it needs quite some customizing at XSL and LaTeX level. But if in a project there is someone with good knowledge of both I would suggest to give it a try. Michael --
