My experience with the current version of FOP is that about the only thing that works reliably is to set the width attribute to a value with units, such as '4.5in'. Most of the other scaling attributes and percentages don't work.

I use Docbook to output to PDF and I have problems with image scaling. I use a lot of screenshots  and I would like to scale them equally. The probelm is that they all have different sizes (not fullscreen) so i can't use a constant value for depth for example. I think I have tried all combinations of contentdepth, contentwidth, depth with % but I can't get it to work. Any advice?

 

(I use Saxon and Apache FOP with OxygenXML)
