Subject: [hendry@cs.helsinki.fi: [docbook] CV update]
Sorry I posted initially to the wrong list. ----- Forwarded message from Kai Hendry <hendry@cs.helsinki.fi> ----- From: Kai Hendry <hendry@cs.helsinki.fi> To: docbook@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [docbook] CV update Date: Thu, 15 Jul 2004 12:22:27 +0300 CSS how do I link it in? I see a fragment sample in the definitive guide but not how to link it in or use it. Do I have to make some sort of HTML stylesheet [3]? Can't I link it straight from XML? Or perhaps a line argument for docbook2... in the Makefile? I have an JPEG image of myself, and I want it in the top right of docbook prepared CV[1] (floated) in the RTF, PS and HTML formats. Not worried about ascii art for text. Is there some typical example of doing this? I have notice a few image tags, but I don't know which one(s) I should be using for this problem. Otherwise I guess I should just link it. Another query is about the HTML source[2] by docbook2html on my Debian unstable system. The source would be much nicer if it was pretty printed, and I controlled stuff like: TEXT="#000000" LINK="#0000FF" VLINK="#840084" ALINK="#0000FF" in CSS. How can I do it? I am completely incapable of using FOSI, XSL, DSSL etc. so please do not suggest them. =) Best wishes, [1] http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/hendry/cv/ [2] http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/hendry/cv/index.html [3] http://www.karakas-online.de/mySGML/css.html ----- End forwarded message -----
