Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] DISPLAY variable-error on a remote machine
I ran across this error message when processing on a certain version of Linux with a certain version of Java 1.3, but I can't quote the versions now. One of the Java 1.3 classes that the Saxon graphics extension calls required access to an X11 server, for some unknown reason. Norm and I concluded that it was a Java bug that was fixed in later versions of Java. If you turn off the graphicsize.extension, it should work.
