Actually, there is a parameter for that dot. If you set the stylesheet parameter 'punct.honorific' to an empty string, it will disappear. That is, unless it is in a biblioentry, in which case the dot is added from the 'bibioentry.item.separator' parameter, which you probably don't want to set to an empty string because it is used for many elements.
