docbook-apps message

Subject: CALS table colwidth units

Using the CALS table model, including :

		<colspec colname="c1" colwidth="1in" align="center" />
		<colspec colname="c2" colwidth="1in" align="center" />
		<colspec colname="c3" colwidth="1in" align="center" />
		<colspec colname="c4" colwidth="1in" align="center" />
		<colspec colname="c5" colwidth="1in" align="left" />
                 <thead>

I am seeing the following error :

[WARNING] Sum of fixed column widths 360000 greater than maximum 
specified IPD 0

According to http://www.oasis-open.org/specs/a502.htm  the "in" is a 
valid CALS unit.  I have a total 5 in width, so I don't see why the 
overflow?
