docbook-apps message

Subject: <example> numbering

I have a problem with the numbering in examples. The numbering  
proceeds from one example to the other, although the XML seems to be  
right.
I've checked the Web and the HTML Parameter Reference but couldn't  
find something that helped me solve this issue.
