newsgroup?

Have the docbook-apps list owners considered making this list
available as a newsgroup? Some search engines provide rich features
for using newsgroups, specifically with respect to searching them. I
usually search this list by specifying inurl:docbook-apps on Google
web search, but that doesn't work so well for the other docbook list.
Just a thought.
