Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] footnote symbol formatting

Title: KCC Stationery
Hi David,
You will have to customize the template in fo/footnote.xsl (and html/footnote.xsl) that starts with:

<xsl:template match="footnote" mode="footnote.number">
That is where the footnote symbol is created for both table and non-table locations.

Subject: [docbook-apps] footnote symbol formatting

Hello all,

Im interested in using <xsl:param name="table.footnote.number.symbols" select="''"/> to format table footnote symbols.
However, the symbols I want to use are : * , ** , *** , ****

I cannot enter those into this param statement because it only allows sets of single characters.  Any other idea as to how I can use my symbols?

Thanks,
