Appendix title and docbook 5.0

Hello,

I have a little problem with docbook 5.0 and appendix title.

As I understood, my appendix starts with :

<appendix xmlns="http://docbook.org/ns/docbook"; version="5.0"
xml:lang="fr" xml:id="my_appendix">
    <info>
        <title>The Appendix title</title>
    </info>

In the generated PDF the appendix title appears in the TOC but not in the
first page of the appendix. It's the same with the preface, but it works
with the classical chapter.

I must misunderstood something, but I don't see what.

Who can help me ?
