Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Header customization for page number

Hi,
You customized the wrong template.  You want to customize the header.content template, not the header.table template.  And you have to follow the structure of the template if you want your header to work.  See the example in that section to see how to do it.

<fo:page-number> needs to be in the right place in your header.content
template. See http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/PrintHeaders.html#PrintHeadersText
for details.

Thank you for the link. I'm having trouble in keeping the  header rule  and  page number  at the  same time.

<xsl:template name="header.table">
<fo:block font-weight="bold" text-align="right">
    <fo:page-number/>
</fo:block>
</xsl:template>

<xsl:template name="head.sep.rule">
    <xsl:attribute name="border-bottom-width">2pt</xsl:attribute>
    <xsl:attribute name="border-bottom-style">solid</xsl:attribute>
    <xsl:attribute name="border-bottom-color">black</xsl:attribute>
</xsl:template>

Thanks
