Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Creating a documentation set with separate book outputs

Hi,
I have seen similar solutions in printed multi-volume books (of course, none of
them are at hand to check).

The point would be that if a user opens one volume and hits CTRL+F to search for
something, he gets an idea which volume he should open, even if it is not in the
current volume.

I haven't thought much about the display of the Toc and the index yet. I guess
the global index could include the title of the volume in addition to the page
number, or simply a volume id.

In the text, I already use olinks, if the global Toc could create olinks as
well, that would be awesome. But if I could add a global toc without links to
every volume (in addition to the normal toc of the volume) I would be happy :)
