Subject: <code> breaking (or not)

For a two-column table with one column containing <code> containing rather
long Java-style property names and the other column containing their
explanations (example below), the stock DocBook PDF stylesheets in oXygen
13.2 result in the text in the <code> not breaking, such that the text
overflows into the next column. The only exceptions that I have seen is
that when the example property value contains a URL, the <code> may split
in the URL portion after a '/' (even when $ulink.hyphenate is not set).

Is there a way to get the content of <code> to be able to break after '.'
using the FO stylesheets?

Regards,
