Hi, this is very unlikely. The trouble is that when you change
chunker.xsl to work with Saxon9 it will stop working in some XSLT 1.0
based implementations. And until now we have weighted compatability with
existing toolchains as more important.

But of course there is modified version of chunker.xsl which works in
Saxon9, see:
