Subject: Re: [docbook-apps] Question about table footers <tfoot>

Is there a switch to turn table footers On/Off when the table will be
placed on two pages and one does not want the footer appear on the first
page? Normally docbook/FOP shows footers on each bottom of parts of the
table.

The XSL-FO property value to use is 'table-omit-footer-at-break="true"'.
See https://www.w3.org/TR/xsl/#table-omit-footer-at-break

FOP's compliance page states that it implements it (and, of course,
other formatters implement it as well).
