Subject: Potential Feature Request: Alternative Linking Attributes
Over the last few years I've arrived at the opinion that the href=/target= pattern used by XInclude for addressing specific elements is the best design. I use this exclusively in all document types I design. I am considering proposing this as an alternative for use on the DocBook linking elements (xref, link, etc.). Has this idea been discussed in the past? Thanks, Eliot -- W.
