Spec Review Keith would prefer if the literallayout used class="monospace" & had prettier printing. Drama Element? If we're happy with the proposed drama element as shown in the spec example, we'll need to update the XML examples in SVN. Spec walkthrough: * Added explanatory section about Dublin Core additions - Scott is concerned about which Dublin Core namespace - Keith notes that xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/terms/" is what O'Reilly uses internally, but older specs do want xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" (like Open Packaging Format (OPF) 2.0 v0.9871.0) - All agree that we should use the current namespace from Dublin Core, but we need to check copyright/use and preferred namespace prefix. * Keith wonders if the newly added elements should have more of a DocBook: The Definitive Guide-esque reference sections. After looking at the 5.0 Spec, we decided to just put that material into The Definitive Guide as necessary. * Keith suggests adding explicit sentences to the Introduction stating the number of elements in DocBook 5.0, the number of elements removed, the number of elements added, and the number of elements remaining. 8. Review of Requests for Enhancement [1] http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/docbook-publishers/event.php?event_id=17773 [2] http://docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/ch02.html#ch02-physdiv 9. New Action Items a. Scott: Update XML examples in SVN to use new markup. b. Scott: Convert usage of The Dublin Core Metadata Element Set, Version 1.1 (original 15 elements) to DCMI Metadata Terms c. Scott: Add reference to Dublin Core documentation and check copyright/use d. Scott: Add explicit element name counts to Introduction e.
