Subject: Re: [docbook-tc] next DocBook TC meeting is Tuesday, not Wednesday
Hi Dave, The website DTD and tools are not something that the OASIS DocBook Technical Committee manages. It was a tool created by Norm Walsh, and he put it into SourceForge for continuing development by any interested parties. So the SourceForge DocBook members would be the ones to extend it to DocBook 5. Note that there has not been a new Website release since 2005. Have you investigated SilkPage? From their documentation: "SilkPage is an XML based Web publishing framework that has evolved from the Docbook Website. With strong foundations in XML, it is a publishing framework with a focus on web standards and usability. SilkPage provides a framework for publishing structured and standard compliant websites in XML. It is particularly suited to publish personal websites, though it is by no means limited to them."
