Title: Version reference for DocBook Publishers documents?
Folks,
It has come to my attention that the DocBook Publishers specification did not contain any specific guidance on how documents should declare their conformance to the spec (see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3006144&group_id=21935&atid=1037852 and the recent email to the list from Nic Gibson). In other words, according to: http://www.docbook.org/docs/howto/#cust-naming
How shall DocBook Publishers documents be versioned? Should it be similar to simplified, such that:
5.0-extension publishers-1.0
It is not a true subset of DocBook 5.0, due to the additions of Dublin Core, speaker, line, linegroup, drama, dialogue, and poetry.
Thoughts?
Thanks and best regards,
