Subject: Re: [docbook-tc] Admonitions in tables
Hi Norm,Figure and example allow a mix of text content so there is no need to exclude them, and TDG even says they are allowed. The equation element has a tightly defined content model that does not include text elements. All three allow caption, and caption is documented as allowing admonitions, and I see no reason to exclude them from caption either.
So I think those schematron rules excluding admonitions from all descendants of the formal objects should be removed, as they contradict TDG.

Admonitions are currently excluded from all formal objects: table, example, figure, and equation. Is the intent of the TC that admonitions be allowed in any formal object, or for them to remain excluded from example, figure, and equation?
