GSoC last call

Because I only received two responses with interest in applying to The Google Summer of Code this year, I think we need to pass this time around.

If anyone know of a reason why we should reevaluate that decision, please speak up right away (the application deadline is mid-day (US time) on Friday.

Thanks very much to Stefan Seefeld, Jirka Kosek, and Steve Ball, who responded to the call; I'm sorry we couldn't get more interest this time around. But that doesn't mean we can't give it a go next year.
