DOCBOOK: Question to page numbers.

Hi all,
is it possible to make the following in DocBook 3.0 :

Having:
---------------------------------
.....
<example id="e1"> <title>Title</title> <para> Example
text</para></example>
.....
As you can see in example on page [page number], blah blah blah ....
.....
---------------------------------
I want "[page number]" to be replaced with the number of the page with
example.
I would be thankful for any tip.
