But how about making textobject a first class child of mediaobject, and giving us a textdata element, analogous to imagedata? Then we could write <mediaobject> <textobject> <textdata fileref="file.c"> </textobject> </mediaobject> and not have to have the current inlinegraphic hack (which will stop working in DocBook 5.0 anyway).
