The parameter element went from %cptr.char.mix to %smallcptr.char.mix. There was this warning comment in the Docbook 3.1 DTD file dbpoolx.mod: <!ENTITY % parameter.module "INCLUDE"> <![%parameter.module;[ <!--FUTURE USE (V4.0): ...................... Parameter will have its content constrained to smallcptr.char.mix. ...................... --> The Docbook team's policy is that backwards incompatible changes can be made when rolling the major version number, if sufficient warning is given. If you cannot update your files, then you'll need to use the old DTD with them. bobs Bob Stayton 400 Encinal Street Publications Architect Santa Cruz, CA 95060 Technical Publications voice: (831) 427-7796 The Santa Cruz Operation, Inc. fax: (831) 429-1887 email: bobs@sco.com
