Subject: Re: DOCBOOK: making a book of articles with Fop
/ "M. Wroth" <mark@astrid.upland.ca.us> was heard to say: | Is this not what SUBDOCs were invented for, though? | | ( haven't made any experiments with this, and I have a sneaking | suspicion XML doesn't allow them, which is not important to me, but | might be to the person who asked the question). Subdoc has been renamed XInclude :-) One wrinkle with XInclude is that you don't get good DTD validation. You can test that the XInclude element appears in a valid place, but you can't validate that the content is valid in the location where XInclude occurred. Be seeing you, norm -- Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> | The common excuse of those who http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/ | bring misfortune on others is that Chair, DocBook Technical Committee | they desire their | good.--Vauvenargues
