I suggest that you use <systemitem role="somethingappropriate"> (where
somethingappropriate is 'cylinder', 'memory-address', etc.) to mark
the elements that don't have explicit markup in DocBook.  Use as many
different role attributes as you feel is necessary to provide the
level of markup that you need.

When you've finished, please report all of the roles that you needed.
The DocBook Technical Committee has a standing policy to add new class
attribute values for this case.
