Subject: DOCBOOK: XSL:FO Book Organization
I've been trying to figure out exactly how the DocBook XSL stylesheets organize a book from a source file. I'm using the Xalan/FOP toolchain and have observed the following pages in my PDFs: - a title page where the title is in a really big font, the word "by" is added, and the author name concatenated together - a page with horizontal lines at the top and botton, the title in a smaller font, the word "by" is added, and the author name concatenated together in the smallest font yet - a page with horizontal lines at the top and botton *and no content* - a dedication page - the table of contents - the colophon (*not* at the end of the document) - the foreword - the "Part I" title and introduction - some chapters - the "Part I" title and introduction - some chapters ... It would be really great if someone could tell me how to eliminate, or at least fill with content, the blank page. I have looked at the documents as best as I could, and nothing has leapt out at me. Thanks for any assistance! Jason Foster
