Subject: RE: [docbook] Error processing FO output from docbook-xsl
Hi, I'm trying to use Altova Authentic as WYSIWYG GUI to create docbook documents for software setup/user guides, mainly because it's free (http://www.altova.com/products_doc.html) and I haven't seen too many other things that can procuce XML documents that adhere to a given schema in a GUI environment. If you know of any, then please let me know. Authentic inserts that tag to use it's own "stylesheet" to format the document in the editing environment. This doen't seem to affect processing, at least with MSXML. Thanks for the information about Vim, I'll certainly give that a try. It may be time to switch to a good editor :) (I switched from XML Spy to Vim as my main XML editor [1] after experiencing data loss and very problematic since secret handling of bugs and bug reports) Otherwise you might want to submit a bug report to Altova. > However, I have tried removing it and there > is no difference in the FO that is generated.
