You can also use releaseinfo for the version.  It doesn't generate the word
"Edition" like the edition element does (unless you customize it).

Also, if your confidentiality statements are boilerplate, you might put them
in your stylesheet and use one of the common attributes such as 'status' or
'security' to trigger the stylesheet to place it in your footer.  The
placement of the attribute determines the scope of coverage for the
statement.  But this would only be useful if you use consistent statements.
