Just set > <xsl:param name="index.prefer.titleabbrev" select="1"/> > in your customization layer. The question though was whether there was a similiar parameter to express preference for "title" or "titleabbrev" in the toc. Bob Stayton's answer was no, and that it was necessary to modify the xsl script to force "title". Thanks, Daniel Parker
