Stuff ahead of a chapter

In the previous formatting before trying out docbook, I had a layout that looked something like

Chapter title
text....

Image
Chapter title
text

So an image relevant to the chapter appearing as a sort of header directly before the chapter title text.

Is this possible in docbook?
