Subject: Re: DocBook 5 mediaobject Problems
/ Raymond <support@wintunnel.com> was heard to say: | Docbook-5.0b3 RNG > | Appears a mediaobject element must be wrapped with a dedication element | when utilized within a book root to validate; not so when utilized | within a article root. > | Is this by design or an oversight? By design, a mediaobject is not allowed as the direct child of book. You can put it in the book's info element, if you intend for it to appear on the cover or something. Or you can put it inside (most) of the elements that can appear as children of book: dedication, preface, article, chapter, appendix, refentry, etc. This isn't new in 5.0, the same is true in 4.x.
