So I should be using 5.0-variant MyVariantName
when I customize 5.0 etc.

Just to clarify; the TC will keep the version
aligned to the decimal release numbers?
So that 5.11 (a fix to a 5.1 release)
will still have version='5.1'
Is that true please?
