And to make things even more confusing, it appears that there are two David Cramers on the DocBook mailing lists :-) ...well, a Dave and a David anyway.
For a while there was a second David Cramer here at Motive. To disambiguate us in Exchange, they made me "David Cramer (Tech Pubs)" and him "David C. Cramer (Marketing)". I got a lot of his email.
But I guess I shouldn't complain. I can only imagine what it's like to be named "Mike Smith"!
