Hi Henrik, That's a nice application. I think the answer to your question is that allowing authorinitials would *require* an application to resolve them, and the DocBook standard is not written to require such applications. If I had to write stock Docbook for it, I would use: <authorgroup> It is longer, but achieves the same purpose.
