processing=parallel

There is a draft RFC that might provide the function of
processing=parallel.  See draft-zeilenga-ldap-grouping-02.txt.  A grouping
type might be specified for parallel processing.  While the
processing=parallel directive seems benign, I wonder whether this problem
is better solved by extensions to LDAP.  Getting full parallel processing
requires additional function in the LDAP server.  If the zeilenga grouping
proposal were adopted, then the current DSML v2 draft would support it ...
except that the draft describes unsolicited notifications.
