Subject: RE: [dsml] Errata for DSMLv2 11/29/01
Agree. The xml attribute soap encodingStyle should be removed from the example, since we do not use the serialization rules. Thx, andy -----Original Message----- From: Christine Tomlinson [mailto:chris.tomlinson@sun.com] Sent: Thursday, November 29, 2001 10:52 AM To: <DSML version 2 Subject: [dsml] Errata for DSMLv2 11/29/01 Resending with proper subject line. This can either be incorporated in a revision of the final or treated as the first errata on the web site. The examples in section "6. SOAP Request/Response Binding" should not have: se:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" in the top-level 'se:Envelope' element. This incorrectly indicates that the serialization rules used in the message follow the schema associated with section 5. of the SOAP 1.2 spec. The se:encodingStyle attribute is not required and may be safely removed per section 4.1.1 of SOAP 1.2. ciao, Christine ---------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe or unsubscribe from this elist use the subscription manager: <http://lists.oasis-open.org/ob/adm.pl>
