Agree. The xml attribute soap encodingStyle should be removed from the
example, since we do not use the serialization rules.

Resending with proper subject line. This can either be incorporated in a
revision of the final or treated as the first errata on the web site.

The examples in section "6. SOAP Request/Response Binding" should not
have:

se:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"

in the top-level 'se:Envelope' element. This incorrectly indicates that
the
serialization rules used in the message follow the schema associated
with
section 5. of the SOAP 1.2 spec. The se:encodingStyle attribute is not
required and may be safely removed per section 4.1.1 of SOAP 1.2.
