Subject: [Fwd: Next DSS-X call on Monday]
Dear all, I forward this message submitted by Andreas, as it contains a number of issues that we think are important, and that we may discuss in today's meeting: 1. First, that our work seems to atract attention outside...maybe we even have new members in the short future. 2. Second, he deals with one of the issues that we mentioned in our last conf and that we will likely deal with today and in the future: interop testing. Here there are two issues: one is the possibility that the IDTrust section provides some funding for this, the other is his first thoughts on how to deal with this.... Regards Juan Carlos. -------- Mensaje original -------- Asunto: Next DSS-X call on Monday Fecha: Fri, 3 Jul 2009 17:30:37 +0200 (MEST) De: Andreas Kuehne <htc@klup.de> Para: cruellas@ac.upc.edu, stefan@drees.name Hi chairs, due a minor reschedule I'll be out for holidays next Monday, but will be back two weeks later. Hope quorum will be achieved even without me. The EEMA conference was quite nice, the DSS-X talk attracted more audience than I expected. Someone from a belgian ministry is thinking about joining the TC. June again raised the topic of funding our interOP testing. What I could think of would be a testing CA especially with a set of somehow broken certificates / CRLs and OCSP responder. Testing just the 'happy path' isn't enough. Another useful thing would be DSS test installation so interested parties could check whether their clients comply or fire up a set of test calls to check their server implementation. So we may gather 'Successful usage' statements automatically ! Greetings Andreas -- Andreas Kühne phone: +49 177 293 24 97 mailto: kuehne@trustable.de Trustable Ltd.
