These documents have been revised to take into account the requirements of the Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS). However, these documents are aimed to be internationally applicable within and outside the EU. Also drafts contain a consistent technical terminology independent from legal definitions whenever appropriate, while referring to the definitions from the EU Regulation when addressing specific EU requirements. Finally the draft standards for digital signatures have been significantly restructured to have a first part with all building blocks and baseline signatures and a second part with extended signatures.
