Subject: Announce of candidate for DSS Core Version 2.0 CSD01 and PRD01 (email motin / ballot)

Dear members,

as agreed yesterday during the TC meeting, I will soon send out
a mail motion to this mailing list to further progress our
DSS Core version 2.0 to CSD01 / PRD01.

That "soon" will be this late European evening, so please
1) watch your mail boxes read the instructions and motion there,
2) open the two archives
2.a) the one with the dss namespace path portion (preferred) and
2.b) the one with the dss-x namespace path portion (if OASIS really,
really must map every namespace to the submitting short TC
     name only).
3) Inspect if you want this revision to become the eagerly awaited
   CSD01/PRD01 (no pressure ;-) ...)
4) Someone please second my motion / ballot mail as instructed in
   the text there
5) Then all please vote either via
    5.a) Firstname Lastname votes YES
xor 5.b) Firstname Lastname votes ABSTAIN
xor 5.c) Firstname Lastname votes NO
xor 5.d) do not respond =(

Then the chair person (Stefan) can easily summarize the motion as soon
as either the last voting member has sent his mail or the seven days
starting with the reception of the seconding email are past whatever
comes first.

@Chet: In case you can gently state in say, responding to this mail
maybe, that either above option (2.a) is OK or that (2.b) is a MUST,
it would ease my job enormously, if you would do so :-)
In one prototypilca implementation we already learned, that the implementer will have to change "4802 occurrences of the thematically
matching namespace" in case it is (2.b) but I would spare offering
a variant of the 150+ pages spec and produce a more lean motion, as
long as this long winding sentence ends and judgment calls.

Looking forward to advice from TC Administration and getting "this"
off of my desk :-) out into the light-ly yours,
Stefan
