[mailto:pvde@sonnenglanz.net] Dear
all, I have
not yet had a formal response but it looks like the "on every page" restriction
is not about to be reconsidered. My
preference would therefore be to develop this specification as a regular
standards-track document. Pim From: Pim van der Eijk
[mailto:pvde@sonnenglanz.net] Hello, I have
tried to use the new CND template, but in the process of doing so I found
this new non-standards track has severe limitations. I wrote about this to
several people and ended up posting an email to the OASIS
Board: http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/oasis-board-comment/201108/msg00011.html I'll see
what the response to it will be. One option is to reposition the
document as a technical specification. (After all, there is no requirement that
an OASIS spec has a least one MUST or SHOULD). Other suggestions are
welcome. Pim From: Pim van der Eijk
[mailto:pvde@sonnenglanz.net] Hello, My
intention was to reformat my private draft using the new CN template, but
due to an issue with the template I cannot use it right now. As today was
basically the only day I could work on this before our TC meeting next
week, I am sending my private draft (which used the template based on the
CS template) to the list. Any future work can be done using the CN
template, once it is ready for use. As a
reminder, I initially wrote this document as background documentation for some
end user communities that are working on document exchange protocols, but
it could be more generally useful. Pim From: Paul Knight
