Subject: Re: [ebsoa] New BPSS V2 editor for ebSOA

Duane,

The whole point of BPSS is to be execution engine neutral - just
like the ebSOA - we do not have as a deliverable an ebSOA execution
engine....neither does the BPSS TC.

Second point - until you implement the editor environment you
have no idea if your model actually works - therefore this is
a validation for the BPSS V2.0 specification schema.

However - since you mentioned it - I am actively looking at using
the jBPM JBOSS middleware to be able to emulate the BPSS
model. This is done by drawing the model in VisualScript and then
using VisualScript to output direct to the syntax jBPM uses.

The BPSS therefore provides the model, while jBPM is the
emulation layer.

What we need to understand in all this - is how does an ebSOA
component stack compare?

While you are focusing on your scope - its important to look
around and see what may or may not be covered by that
scope.... ; -)

Cheers, DW
