I thought Thurs at 4 pm ET was picked because it had the least conflict. I have worked my schedule with that in mind. Tues and Wed already have time slots taken up to accomodate standards work; devoting a whole day to standards is not good for me. I also prefer to avoid Fridays as there is usually a "fire drill" I need to participate in. On Thurs I can move it up an hour (3 pm ET) if that will pull in more people.
