Goran,

I am truly glad to receive this good news, am excited about our being able to get going on the specification documents, and am very proud of your work.

George,

All isues related to the IPR have been resolved. Semantion's FERA-based SOA contribution will be fully in accordance with the OASIS IPR. I just received a note from James with all next steps we said we'll together take care of to make this finalized as soon as possible. My conservative estimate is that we should have everything in place by the beginning of next week. Having said that it means that Semantion's FERA-based SOA specification documents will be available (two of them now and the third one is on its way in next few weeks) and the ebSOA TC will be in position to finaly start its work on the SOA specifications using our FERA-based SOA as its architectural framework. We believe that the FERA-based SOA will provide enough support for this TC to complete very much needed SOA specs.

My impression is that during the call with Patrick and James, both of them have been very supportive about the main message I was trying to explain and which belongs to the standard convergence principal of our solution. As you know well, the standard convergence will enable interoperability between different standards and technologies and at the same time support the consolidation of standards (Web Services, ebXML, etc.) used in OASIS and other standard boides as well. When I also explained SOA Information Model and SOA Collaboration Semantics components of the FERA-based SOA James was very excited with a full understanding of how much value they will bring to the overall SOA integration and all SOA layers support from the message exchanges, message transformations and message routing what today's SOA soultions and products are mostly about to the complex orchestrations for collaborative processes of any type and complexity.

According to the Event Details page of the ebSOA TC John has scheduled the meeting for 3:00 pm EDT. The access code does not work. I have a good news regarding the Semantion's FERA-based SOA contribution and the IPR related discussion with Patrick Gannon and James Clark I wanted to share with you in more details today.

Regards,

Goran
