Subject: RE: [ebxml-cppa] P Modes in ebMS 3.0 -- references for reading

Dale,

Line 53 uses ebXML MEP - I assume "message exchange protocol" ? - but we need to spell that out first time its used there.

Same again on line 70 - MPF

Also - Question - if a P.mode parameter is missing - do we automatically default to the CPA for that value?  I assume the answer is "Yes" ?

We should probably state that somewhere - right about where we say the P.mode can be configured dynamically at runtime.

Thanks, DW

ebXML Messaging support for CPPA v 3.0 will need to address the P Modes that are being introduced to describe aspects of configuration.

See

Data Model
proposal for P-Modes, for
appendix.
Updated for improvement,
corrections, and addressing i054.

and its predecessors

During September (beginning with the first meeting Sept. 8) we will consider how to align P modes with 2 areas:

The MessagingCharacteristics “vector” used in CPPA 2.0 and DocExchange children dealing with aspects of QOS provided by ebMS 2 and 3.
