Subject: Multihop routing function
Hello, The ebXML Messaging TC is working on a profile of ebMS 3.0 for multihop messaging. This profile refers to a "routing function" that intermediaries use to forward message through an I-Could based on the rich metadate provided by the ebXML business document header. Attached is an experimental "ebRouting" schema that reuses elements and types in the draft CPA 3.0 schema to express such a routing function. The core idea is that the parameters which, in a multihop path, need to be specified separately for each hop, are neatly grouped in the cpa3:Transport element. These include protocol, endpoint details, MEP binding, transport security. The schema links these to pattern selection expressions, expressed as Xpath expressions. Pim
